Hanumant Dham is a very old and famous temple in Lucknow, located near the Gomti River. This temple is around 400 years old and is mainly dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva. The most special thing about this temple is that it has more than 1.25 lakh (125,000) idols of Lord Hanuman in different forms.
Inside the temple, there is a 400-year-old idol of Lord Hanuman in the main prayer room, which looks very divine. There is also a 108-feet tall statue of Hanuman Ji, which looks amazing and can be seen from far away.
The temple is beautifully made with the help of artists from Rajasthan, and the stone designs on the walls look very beautiful. There is also a green garden called Hanumant Vatika inside the temple, which makes the place calm and peaceful.
In 2022, the temple was improved and made more beautiful. It was opened by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Now, Hanumant Dham is not only a religious place but also a popular place for tourists.
People believe that praying here with a true heart helps in fulfilling wishes. Many visitors come here every Tuesday and Sunday.

This sacred site is believed to be around 400 years old. The original sanctum (garbhagriha) houses an ancient east-facing idol of Lord Hanuman, revered for its mystical and divine aura. The present form of Hanumant Dham is the result of a massive beautification and reconstruction effort that took nearly seven years to complete. Renowned artisans from Rajasthan played a significant role in sculpting the breathtaking stone statues that adorn the temple’s walls and interiors.
The temple was re-inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on July 6, 2022, after the renovation work was completed. The temple was originally established by Guru Narsingh Das, and key contributions in its modern development came from Uday Sinha, Sanjay Sinha, and Vijay Sinha
